Replica Patek Philippe Chronograph Ref. 5172G with salmon dial

Slightly overshadowed by the new Calatrava models, Patek presented several extensions to its current lines in Geneva, including a very tasty version of the 5172G chronograph with a salmon-colored dial.

Reference 5172G appeared in the Replica Patek Philippe catalog in 2019. During the last Baselworld, the manufacturer presented a new, simple chronograph with a manually wound mechanism and a white gold case covering a classic, equally simple dial with two counters. While Patek is famous for its grand complications and horological displays, it is these “ordinary” models that often attract more attention from collectors, and not only because of the relative (financial) availability of these watches. There is strength in simplicity, and Patek knows how to use it perfectly and tastefully.

Premiere ref. The 5172G was only available in a blue dial version… until now. The second version of the watch, probably a bit more elegant, has a dial in the ever-fashionable color of salmon, pink, or whatever else you prefer to call it. Enclosed under a sapphire glass, the dial has a deep, pleasant “salmon” shade, contrasted with blackened applications of Arabic indexes and hands. This stylistic approach suggests that the watch’s designers had a rather casual and sporty style in mind, emphasized by a large amount of white lumina.
