Replica IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition „C.03” Collective Horology
The Replica IWC manufacture, in cooperation with the California Collective, has created a limited version of a classic, aviation chronograph, distinguished by a technical, monochrome finish and details.
Collective was established in 2018 in sunny California,
on the initiative of two friends – Asher Rapkin and Gabe Reilly. Both gentlemen, watch enthusiasts, decided to create something like a closed club, which will offer its members special, limited editions of watches created with selected manufactories. Collective has already collaborated with H. Moser & Cie, Zenith and Urwerk. The newest partner of the Americans is the factory in Schaffhausen.
According to the information provided by Collective, the inspiration to create the limited edition Pilot’s Watch Chronograph “C.03” was the archival reference IW3706 from the late 90s. The new watch was designed in a similar spirit,
distinguished
at
once by its
uniformity and highly technical style. Made of matte-finished steel (with a polished edge), the watch case measures 41 mm in diameter, is 14.5 mm thick,
has two sapphire glass, and a polished crown and a pair of stopwatch buttons on the right side.
Under the sapphire, slightly convex glass, there was a monochrome,
black and white dial – a typical dial of a thoroughbred “pilot” – legible,
with large Arabic indexes and a massive pair of hour and minute hands. At the height of 3 there is a window for the date and day of the week with abbreviations of the days in German.
The watch is powered by the automatic caliber 69385,
clearly visible through the glass window of the case back. The movement has a power reserve of 46 hours, a column wheel,
4 Hz balance and a large, partially open rotor with a black coating.
IWC will make 12 numbered watches for Collective. To buy one of them, you must first become a member of the Collective – you can do it HERE. The price of one item is USD 7,150 (~ PLN 28,500) plus applicable taxes. Includes a calf leather strap and a steel bracelet. The watches will be replica watches
