Gene VE (Fake Rolex) submariner moon phase of artisans
The Artisans de Geneve studio has completely reworked the Fake Rolex Submariner this time. A dominant moon phase display, framed by an aventurine dial, has been added to the dive watch.
Artisans de Geneve studio located in Geneva has specialized in the segment of the watch market, which is becoming more and more popular. Of course, we are talking about personalization (or “customization”) – creating individual, unique replica watches for a specific order. We wrote about AdG before, on the occasion of the Submariner made for Andrea Pirlo, or the modification of Daytona. The studio clearly likes Fake Rolex as the starting brand, on the basis of which individual modifications are designed. The idea comes from the client each time, and this time it was Paul Watson, the founder of the sometimes controversial Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, a non-profit organization working for the broadly understood good and protection of the oceans and marine life.
Watson’s idea assumed the marine atmosphere of the watch, but as a result, the complication of indicating the phases of the moon comes to the fore. A mechanical module by AdG has been added to the regular, automatic caliber of the Rolex 3135 from the Ref. 116610. Unlike the factory ones, the AdG’s movement is presented in full splendor under the sapphire window of the caseback.

In addition to the mechanical changes, the changes are also aesthetic – or perhaps most importantly, because at first glance the watch does not look like the serial SUB. The watch face, bezel insert, and even the part of the automatic winding rotor are made of aventurine – glass with metallic inclusions that shimmers in the light like a starry sky. The large moon phase display on the lower half of the dial itself is made of a Grand Feu enamelled disk plus two engraved silver moons. The decorations did not miss the envelope itself, the sides of which were laser-cut and finished with a rough coating.
Like all Artisans de Geneve creations, this one is unique, made in one copy for a specific order. So we do not know the price of the watch, which does not change the fact that a similar (or completely different) project can be done by anyone by contacting the AdG studio directly.
